Project 1: Debit Card Programs &
Eligibility Label Process Redesign Project
For a Major Pharmaceutical Company

Mahoney Consulting Service’s consultant worked on the Eligibility Benefits Administration team which interfaces with external clients. The area applies client data to internal company databases for Line of Business operations as well as providing support, process and productivity improvement to the company's Line of Business operations.

MCS enhanced the Beneficiary Merge process which is used to maintain plan participant information cross 60 DB/2 tables. This including fixing Commit/Rollback/Restart processing; tuning program logic and DB/2 calls for better performance and normal maintenance of Business requirements. This, in turn, saved us thousands of dollars by improving this process. MCS’s consultant also worked on the Client List function, an internal information tool used by Eligibility Administrators for dealing with external clients.

Project 2: Major Facility Management Support

Mahoney Consulting Service’s consultants improved the process and productivity of the current system, plus had the database knowledge necessary to integrate our service management system with our legacy systems including customer/vendor databases, timesheets, tax tables, etc. MCS’s consultants took call from the users of the systems to resolve everyday issues for the client’s system. We were able to write/perform database conversions from previous versions of this software and to assist in the future development/integration/roll out of new service projects. This assignment required that they work with client personnel nationwide. MCS’s consultants were capable of analyzing and designing an enterprise level SQL 2000 database for other service project being planned which also required database integration to our legacy systems.

MCS supplied us with a critical resource for a large service project currently underway. The firm provided us with only qualified consultants meeting the criteria that we specified. MCS’s consultants continue to excel in the current positions and we are delighted with their abilities and accomplishments.
